Picnic is designed to run on two or more Macs on a common local area network (LAN/WLAN).
It offers the ability to create shared folders of files which are automatically synced between all user's accounts using Bonjour.
Files can be edited 'offline' and are synced back to other Picnic users when the bonjour connnection is re-established.
It offers an alternative to classical file server (AFP/Samba) based shared folders or network drives through n-way file syncing.
